In September, 2016 BodaBoda Banja was incorporated. They finance Bajaj two and three-wheeler variants under a hire purchase scheme to customers. They are unlocking growth in Uganda by empowering Boda Boda riders to own their business - often considered too risky for credit.
Riders have a new bike in less than 3 days. They own the asset after successfully completing the weekly installments. The objective of the company is to have as many Boda Boda riders own the assets over a period of time instead of taking the vehicles on rent - as is the case with other providers.
The brief was to create a system to be used internally by stuff to register employees within the company, asssign roles (administrator, supervisor or sales executive - each with unique permissions), work stations and keep track of their activities in terms of how many customers they register. The registered employees then login with a username and password generated by the system.
Through interactions with the client at the startof the project, I understood their mission and position in the marketplace. I also understood the client's organisation culture and what they expected of their employees. These interations were eventually important in providing guidelines for both the user experience and interface designs.
One more thing.... This is a school project and there's a lot that can be improved.
Maybe we could work together on some cool projects.
